Job Description:
Join CanFinis’ dynamic R&D team in Kolkata as a Scientist-I and play a pivotal role in advancing our innovative CAR-T therapy development for hematological and solid cancers. As a Scientist-I, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the overall research objectives of the lab. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to design and execute experiments, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the development of novel CAR-T products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments and assays to support CAR-T therapy development projects.
- Analyze experimental data and contribute to data interpretation and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to design and optimize experimental protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
- Stay updated on the latest scientific literature and technological advancements relevant to CAR-T therapy research.
- Participate in lab meetings, discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology).
- Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, and molecular biology assays.
- Experience in immune cell isolation, transfection, and gene editing techniques preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Prior experience in oncology research or CAR-T therapy development is a plus.
